A small (1-inch high) bronze Buddha on a Bodhi tree leaf (Ficus religiosa). This must have been made at least thirty or forty years ago. The design is not perfect, and the wear shows years of use, probably on a necklace.

A small (1-inch high) bronze Buddha on a Bodhi tree leaf (Ficus religiosa). This must have been made at least thirty or forty years ago. The design is not perfect, and the wear shows years of use, probably on a necklace a monk wore for years.
The reverse shows the veins of the Bodhi leaf and has some Pali and Thai writing. Pali was the language of the Buddha 2500 years ago.
