Rare Silver Maroon and Black Jatukam Ramathep – Thai Amulet

Description

We have been looking for Jatukam Ramathep pendants for over six years now, and we have never found this pendant or any like it before. The colors are unique. The pattern is unique. The reverse side has the most intricate yant design we’ve ever seen on a Jatukam amulet. The reverse side is silver (stainless steel).

The quality of the pendant is very high, the detail is sharp. Jatukam Ramathep is surrounded by Rahu, the sun-eating Hindu god as is typical with Jatukam pendants from Wat Mahathat, the originator of Jatukam pendants in Thailand.

We bought just a few of these, that is all the temple had available. Once sold, we don’t expect to see these again.

The reverse side shows some holy Pali characters, the Chinese zodiac symbols, and star configurations arranged into a sacred yant.
