If you look inside stores and businesses of all sorts in Thailand, and around the world, you may see a small altar, or at least a statue or pendant with a representative image (figure) of Nang Kwak in a highly visible place just inside the front door.

Wherever there are Chinese Buddhists – there are Nang Kwak amulets. Not that Chinese are the only appreciators of these amulets, but they have a special affinity for them! Plenty of Thais without Chinese background also love Nang Kwak statues and pendants and use them in their businesses.
