Rectangular Phra Pidta Solid Copper Amulet Necklace

This is a small Phra Pidta pendant also from Nakhon Si Thammarat like our other amulets.

We have just one of these unique pendants and we don’t anticipate every seeing any more. We have never seen more than this one. When high level pendants are released, they are bought up quickly. They usually only make it back on the market when people pass away or desperately need money. This solid copper pendant appears to be in new condition, never worn in an pendant on a necklace. It was sealed in plastic when we found it.

Phra Pidta is a monk seated with no clothes visible. His hands are covering his face from the front, and he is seated in a full or half-lotus position as he is deep in Jhana meditation. It symbolizes that he is deep within himself, inside the magical place of Jhana and possibly abhinna experiences. Abhinna are supernatural experiences that can occur when someone is able to reach the fourth Jhana.

This pendant is of the highest quality.

Phra Pidta Amulet Description

Phra Pidta is seated in a full lotus position. On top of Phra Pidta’s head are two layers of lotus leaf flowers and an unblossomed lotus flower on top of that. There is a monocled cobra (Naja kaouthia) on each side of the monk. The background is black.

On the reverse side is a demon flying through the sky and with a Rahu demon on each of the four corners of the amulet.

The pendant is 1 3/8 inches high (3.5 cm), 1 inch wide (2.5 cm), and less than 1/8 inch thick (2 mm).
