Description
This is a solid copper special edition Tok Hak Buddha Pendant in an oval shape and originally from from Wat Sampaocher by LP Thong.
On the reverse of this pendant is an eight leaved (petals) lotus flower in special design that mirrors the solid silver pendant we have of this same style. We may not have that pendant up for sale yet, but it will be soon. Check under the category – Buddha Sothorn here and we may have it listed. We thought it was a Sothorn style Buddha for a while.
Though we were able to buy around sixty of the solid copper pendants in this style we never saw more than this one solid silver one! We bought it immediately. If we don’t sell this one, I think my hubby will be happy enough because it is right now one of his top 10 pendants he loves so much. :P
These pendants usually feature intricate designs and are believed to bring good luck, protection, and blessings to the wearer.
The term “Tok Hak” roughly translates to “the eye of the crow” in Thai. It refers to the unique eye shape of the Buddha image, which resembles that of a crow. These pendants are often made from various materials like metal, wood, or even precious stones, and they’re commonly worn as a form of spiritual protection or as a symbol of the Theravada Buddhist faith.
Many people believe that wearing a Tok Hak Buddha pendant can bring about positive energy, ward off negative influences, and even help with meditation and mindfulness practices. Plus, they’re often beautifully crafted, making them both meaningful and nice to look at.
In Thailand, we usually find these pendants sold in local Thai markets, temples, and spiritual shops, and they’re highly regarded by both locals and Buddhist tourists alike. So, if you’re into spiritual Buddhist symbols or just appreciate unique jewelry, buying one of these Tok Hak Buddha pendants on this page might be a good idea.
NOTE – We have just one of these collector’s quality Thai pendants in solid silver and we don’t expect to see any more. That Tok Hak Buddha is here >.
