Old Rare Ajahn Jamnian Seelasettho Collector’s Pendant Necklace

Here is an Ajahn Jamnian pendant from Wat Tham Seua Buddhist temple in Krabi, Thailand which we never expected to see – and have never heard about. The reason is, they took an old pendant and turned it into a necklace amulet.

The pendant features an oval shaped portrait photo image of young (25 years?) monk Ajahn Jamnian on a darker blue background but with his head surrounded by a lighter blue radiance. It is an exceptional likeness of Luang Por Jamnian, and one that someone will be very lucky to rent.

On the lower right side of Phra Aj. Jamnian’s likeness is the authentic seal highlighted in white.

When we come across pendants / pendants like this, it is always interesting to us how they came be available at the temple. This rare pendant is obviously decades old, and was probably created when Aj. Jamnian was about 25 years old. He is now nearly 88, so this is likely a 50-year-old antique.

We are guessing that someone at the temple held this pendant for years, and probably kept it on an altar for years because the image is in such good shape.

This is for a truly devoted Ajahn Jamnian devotee, and there will probably never be another like it on the market. Usually when originally created, the pendants and pendants sell quickly and go to take their place on Buddhist altars for a lifetime and usually more. Successive generations of Thais in the family keep the altars going after parents pass.

We were able to acquire this pendant for a reasonable price, considering what we think it is worth. We’ll pass it on to you to rent also for a reasonable amount.

All of Ajahn Jumnian’s pendants are considered excellent for good luck, health, and protection.

This would make a lovely gift pendant for a devotee of Ajahn Jamnian, as it will likely not be found on the market again. A must have pendant for any serious collector of Ajahn Jamnian Seelasettho’s amulets.
