Description

Here are five (5) special edition Phra Pidta pendants (to choose from) handcrafted of white jade stone, from Wat Lahn Kuat (WLK) in the far Northeast of Thailand. We call this white jade and our petrified wood pendants from WLK – the WLK Collection for ease of reference.

Meaning of Phra Pidta Amulets?

Phra Pidta is a monk who is sitting still in deep absorption states – called “Jhana.” His hands are over his eyes to signify that the five human senses are shut off during these states. There is no real input from the senses during Jhana, and it is like they are not working in deep Jhanas.

To some, this is a magical state. It is surely one of the top attainments during meditation that one can reach. Especially once into the fourth Jhana where supernatural powers or experiences are said to manifest. Here is more detailed info about Phra Pidta, if you’re curious.

Don’t forget to return to this page to see our exclusive collection of small white jade Phra Pidta amulets! They will sell fast.

Below we have a small number of these amulets. These are an exclusive collection. We have never seen any like this offered online. There’s a good reason for that when they were offered at the Wat Lahn Kuat temple, we bought all they had.

If you have been looking for good pendants for a long time, you’ll find that there are very few white jade pendants of any kind offered out there. Much less direct from temples.

Why Do People Buy Phra Pidta Amulets?

Most people who buy Phra Pidta figures are trying to increase their financial worth – their money situation. There is said to be something magical about the se pendants and it is the highest-powered pendant for financial needs. The next down would be Nong Kwak – which is very popular, but not a Buddhist monk.

Choose one below, or ask that we choose the best one of the group for you.

Phra Pidta pendants below come with a free stainless steel case, but we strongly recommend you get a solid silver case for this amulet. Add another $80 for this premium case. Let us know and we can invoice you for it.

Though some of the images make it appear that there is a yellow tint to the white jade, it isn’t so. I must have had the color balance on the camera set too warm (high Kelvin) and it turned them a bit yellow. You can be sure each of the Phra Pidta pendants is white. :P
